The Energy Policy Act promotes energy conservation and energy production by providing tax incentives and loan guarantees.
The Energy Policy Act provides loan guarantees for innovative technologies, increase coal as an energy source, reduction in air pollution. It also provides subsidies for wind and other alternative energy producers.
The Act also provides tax benefits for energy conservation measures done to individual homes as well as incentives to oil and gas producers. Extension of daylight saving time was a recent change made by the Energy policy Act.
